The Assignment
Welcome to the spot for a special kind of ‘flow’ where good times and a good life are in full effect. It’s all made possible by our founder, producer, commentator and author, Douette ‘Doc’ Cunningham. Sometimes seen as “Da Island Guy” from his modest Caribbean upbringing, Doc is … a motivator who affirms the notion that “life is meant to be lived with purpose.” He has been exposed to many aspects of technology and human development during his career, which included 10 years of IT experience with the world’s largest R&D consortium.
Doc made the shift from Corporate America to pursue his passion and live his dreams. Since then, he’s had many opportunities to showcase his abilities, share his philosophies and market his strategies around civics, career, culture and community. His True Calling is geared towards the social-edge campaign/platform to See America in Color (SAIC). His work is built on a foundation of speaking, blogging and podcasting.
Friends/peers say Doc is a great communicator because he speaks to and through people. He blends his gift of motivation with his passion for “purpose in living.” This special combination makes him a practitioner and commentator who takes the daily news and current affairs and turns them into heart-grabbing soundbites. Doc’s work has been featured in various media outlets over the years.
